Overview
The App Wizard guides you through the first steps of creating a new App:
- Name the App
- Choose the type of client(s) the App will run on
- Choose the primary scripting language
- Choose the database, or none
- Choose to use a previously saved or downloaded App template or to create a blank App
Create New App
To create a new App, use the tile in the Home Workspace:
Alternatively, use the New App... option from the Apps menu in the App Builder MenuBar or the toolbutton or actionbar + button in the Apps Workspace.
The first screen displays helpful information about the Lianja App Builder. Click NEXT to continue:
Name the App and select the client types the App will run on. Click NEXT to continue or PREVIOUS to return to the previous screen:
From Lianja v7.2 Web/Mobile client side code can be written in Python as well as Javascript.
Select the primary scripting language for the App. Click NEXT to continue or PREVIOUS to return to the previous screen:
Select the database for the App, or leave it blank to choose later. Click NEXT to continue or PREVIOUS to return to the previous screen:
Choose to create a blank App, or select a previously saved or downloaded App template. Click NEXT to continue or PREVIOUS to return to the previous screen:
The final screen displays your choices. Click DONE to create the App or PREVIOUS to return to the previous screen:
