Thread: InputMask

    InputMask

I have a Textbox on a Canvas. I set the InputMask to "!!!!!!!!!!" and the InputMaskType to "Custom".

I also have an InteractiveChange() delegate specified which uses the value of the Textbox to filter the data in a grid on the page.

If I enter alphabetic text, the values are displayed as uppercase, but the InteractiveChange() delegate DOES NOT fire. If I enter non-alphabetic characters (numeric, special characters) OR I hold the SHIFT key while entering alphabetic text, the InteractiveChange() delegate DOES fire.

I have also tried with the InputMaskType set to "Upper Case" and "Upper Case Alphabetic". If either of these is used with the "!!!!!!!!!!" for InputMask, then all the text entered shows up lowercase.

Is there a better way to do this or is this perhaps a bug?

    Thanks,
    Scott
