Web Applications and Data Transmission over the Web.

    Hi

I have begun using the HTML 5 RDP Gateway from RemoteSpark.com which turns any desktop app into an application accessed from the browser. So I currently have VFP9 applications running on Terminal Servers which are accessed by a web browser (must be capable of supporting Web Sockets and Canvas). In a sense with this technology in many cases reduces the need to develop web and mobile version of my applications because they can be accessed already by a capable browser. It also does not require any kind of add-in to be installed in the browser.

Another advantage from my perspective is that the data never leaves the server. How does Lianja handle this with their web and mobile clients, does the data leave the server? Does Lianja require an add-in for the browser?

    Thanks
    Simon

No. The Lianja web client is pure html5/JavaScript -- no plugins required.

    Lianja mobile is native.
