Grid Section - Hide add, delete

Can the default add and delete buttons (+ -) be removed from the lower grid section navigation panel?

I would like them to be able to edit the records so I don't think Read only will work for me. I was hoping to allow them to edit the record but block the ability to add or delete records. Is this possible?

    Hi,
    I think it's not possible.

Is it possible to not show the navigation pane at the bottom of a grid section at all? Just trying to make my program idiot proof.

You just found a need for roles and permissions.

    https://www.lianja.com/doc/index.php...ion_Attributes

Create a role and disable Create and Delete Permissions.

    Hi,

I suppose you are talking about actionbar with + - and VCR-like navigation.

Maybe you can replace these with your buttons in a custom menu:
    1. In Appearance attributes uncheck "Show actionbar"
    2. In Footer attributes define Custom menu with #Add,Delete and corresponding Custom action

You can arrange these attributes with roles and permissions, and use Meta Data editor
