Of course, EcmaScript 2015 has just been approved (and 2016's proposed changes look even nicer) -- but since no one has implemented 2015 yet, the resources on the page I referenced are still fully relevant.

In any case, there really isn't a lot we need to know about JavaScript (when coming from a VFP background) to work effectively in Lianja: the heavy lifting is done for us. Mike Feltman's SlideShare (the middle slides about language elements) is a very useful quick reference for making the transition.
