    Understanding UI Navigation

Before you go passionately developing something that may already be provided by the Lianja Framework I'd recommend you read this article on UI navigation.

    https://www.lianja.com/doc/index.php..._UI_Navigation

And this one on Dialog Panels.

    https://www.lianja.com/doc/index.php/Dialog_Panels

And to develop custom forms that are embedded inside Dialog Panels this article.

This functionality works across Desktop, Web and Mobile.

Section not responding with Navigation Panel

    Greetings,

I have setup the navigation panel at the page settings and also included the data source.

However, I can't get it to work during runtime, the relevant section will not respond based on the menu I clicked at the navigation panel.

The attached screenshot for your kind reference, please do let me know if I missed out anything, many thanks Name: Page_NavigationPanel.jpg

    Hi Lee Yin,

What exactly are you trying to achieve.

The document referenced in the original post tells you that this is for accordion sections. Your sections are just regular collapsible sections on one page.

If you study example_webapp1 it has a navigation panel which switches between pages and sections.

    Greetings Barry,

I am trying to setup the navigation panel to navigate to each section individually.

Based on the example_webapp1, I added a normal section to the same page and alter the data source with a new menu named Testing and it works.

I am not sure which settings I missed out on my side which caused it to not work as it should.

The menu under the employee section at the navigation panel are all from the same page. Hence, I thought it should work for normal section on the same page aside from accordion section.Name: example_webapp1_datasource.PNG

    Hi Lee Yin,

As I mentioned. You navigate to either a page or an accordion section within a page. You don’t navigate to a collapsible section. Switch to runtime view and you will see how example_webapp1 works. It raises accordion stacked sections into view as you click on the navigation menu items.

    As explained in the doc.

    Greetings Barry,

Many thanks for the reply. I understand better now, sorry for not noticing the section was accordion style in the example app.

Just to confirm I just need to checkmark true for the accordian behaviour at the page attribute? Is there any other setting I need aside from the mentioned?

    Greetings,

May I know how can I hide the section header during runtime?
