getJSON() for sections returns a JSON string without the outerleftmost '{'

The Lianja.get('page1.section1').getJSON() function returns a JSON string without the outerleftmost '{' bracket.

To reproduce,
1. Create a new app (scripting language set to Javascript).
2. Create a new section by dragging southwind.employees table to empty space.
3. Create a footer menu with button

4. Create a custom delegate for the button

5. Write custom delegate to print out Lianja.get('page1.section1').getJSON();

6. Console output shows one less '{'
