Migrating Visual FoxPro Forms and Components to Lianja

In Lianja App Builder Beta10 we have added the ability to embed a "Form" or a "Container" object directly into a Custom Section. This simplifies the migration of existing Visual FoxPro form based applications into Lianja as it allows .scx forms and .vcx components to be embedded into custom sections. Just return a "Form" or "Container" from the custom section procedure and it will be automatically embedded.

If you set the "Stretch last section" attribute in the section attributes dialog the component will occupy all of the page it belongs to.

    Very Cool.

Would there be an issue with forms that have GDI+ or activex controls?

    Thanks.

You can import vcx files into Lianja (http://www.lianja.com/documentation/...l-FoxPro-files). This converts them to a '.vcp'. The SET CLASSLIB command (http://www.lianja.com/doc/index.php/SET_CLASSLIB) can be used to open/load a class library.

Sorry I've been away for a while but I am just now finding time to get back. Does this post imply you can now get a visual design view of VFP forms from the imported files?
