Packaging Desktop Apps for MacOS in Lianja 6

The MacOS version of Lianja 6 is a "Lianja platform" installer that includes

    Lianja App Builder
    Lianja App Center
    Lianja Cloud Server
    Lianja SQL Server

all running as x64 applications with huge file support.

This installer is called LianjaPlatform.pkg. It has been code signed by Lianja and notarized by Apple.

It can be installed on any mac running Big Sur (Intel or M1) and run any of the Lianja products.

    App Builder

double click /Applications/Lianja.app then right click on the icon in the dock and select "Options > Keep in Dock"

    App Center

double click /Applications/LianjaAppCenter.app then right click on the icon in the dock and select "Options > Keep in Dock"
    or
    lianjarun --runtime

    Cloud Server

This will be running after installation as the "Community Edition". Use lianja-lm to activate a LCS license. Community Edition is local only so will need licensed for LAN use.

You can package up your Lianja Apps into a .pkg file using the (free) and rather excellent packages application. This can be downloaded from:
    http://s.sudre.free.fr/Software/Packages/about.html

For desktop Apps, all Lianja Apps reside in /Users/Shared/Lianja/tenants/public/apps/ and data in /Users/Shared/Lianja/tenants/public/data/.

You can then install the LianjaPlatform on a target machine and include your .app file which you create using the /Applications/automator app on our Mac. See below.

Also it is worth pointing out that you can create Lianja packages (.lpk files) and install them on macs using the lianja-lpk command line tool.
