    It does not require you to create a unique key. Thats the only real difference in terms of Lianja... However it does mean that the backend database type is irrelevant as its handled within the Lianja data engine for Its too.

    Ah, very nice. So the error handling comes out of the engine also. That's a good thing.

    That is so handy that it would be nice to be able to define it independent of the UI. Oh, metadata on the field set to the attribute name, as we can already do with caption, etc., so the attribute follows the data.

    ALTER TABLE tableName MODIFY CONSTRAINT columnName SET CHECKUNIQUE
    ALTER TABLE tableName MODIFY CONSTRAINT columnName DROP CHECKUNIQUE
