    Lianja PC Camera

    Is it possible to access the installed PC camera in Lianja and save the captured photo, document?

    You can use the videoplayer.

    https://www.lianja.com/doc/index.php/Videoplayer

    Camera support in that is experimental but it may work for you.

    There is another build in class which again is experimental (hence not documented). "camera"

    add it to a container and you can take photos that are stored in a file.

    cont.addobject("ocam", "camera")
    filename = ocam.getPhoto(filename)

    Thanks for the support. Unfortunately, I can't quite cope with it. The reference to the video play is unfortunately not understandable for me. How do I get this included in the section. Under Gadgets and Advanced I don't find a button with which I can drag the video player onto the picture. What exactly do I have to do? I understood that I have to drag a container onto the page / section, but where can I get the container from?

    I found the sample file for the video player. How was the black container deposited on this page / section. I have no way to click on it. How was the bar Open Play Stop Slider placed on the screen. Again, I have no way to click this to make adjustments / changes

    Itís a videoplayer section.

    You change its functionality by changing the attributes in the app inspector. By default it plays videos that you open.

    Its a built-in class, so you can write custom code and add as a custom section.

    If you explain whatís it is you want to achieve I will be able to answer better.

    First of all, thanks for the support. I want to accomplish two things with this function. Once I want to take a picture from the camera and save it to an employee. The second more important function for me is that I want to read a QR code from the camera.
    Thanks again for the support.
    Greetings Olaf
