Create Failed

Hi guys

Our app works great in App center but in web localhost and production, we are unable to create a new record with RC98 or RC99

We get a red warning box saying :

Create failed
Record could not be created

We have tried redeploying both our data and the system database and re-booting the server but no difference. Cloudserver Manager service has full admin permissions and was working before we upgraded to RC98.

There are no restrictive roles in place and this only happens in web.

On the Windows server, "Everyone" has read/write/modify permissions for our database folder.

Any thoughts?

That said, in RC99, when I deployed the Southwind DB, and deployed the web version of webapp1 (tablet web demo) and added a record, no Save icon (the checkmark) appeared in the Action Bar. And that would indicate that the table is readonly..

Yes - tried it with and without system database being deployed. We have the save/checkmark icon enabled but when pressed, we get our error.

We are pretty sure that it is not permissions. We have always had this sometimes in web but now it is every time.

Just tried it on a different machine - same result. Looks like a bug.

Have demo on Monday so hope it can be sorted / find a resolution before then.....

This has been fixed. It was broken in RC99.
