Web form elements disappear on edit

Hi guys

We have a canvas section that has a couple of data bound combo boxes on it, a command button and a label for the version number.

When we add a new record, all the sections on the page correctly go into edit mode, including this one. However, the command button and the label (neither of which are bound to any field or memvar) also go in to edit mode.

The caption on both the command button and the label disappear and do not return when the record is saved. Command button works fine.

This only happens on web. In dev/app center it works fine.

Any thoughts?

Look in the UI Explorer and check for an extra UI element that you have overlapped on top of your buttons. Sounds to me that’s what you have done.

Looked at all the elements and whilst the button is on top of an image, it still works fine, even when the caption disappears and therefore must be on top.

The label is not overlapped by anything. It is as if they are both acting as fields.

The both work fine in Dev
