Unicode support in Lianja

I've tried a few national characters from CP 1250 in Lianja (ěščřžýáíéĎŤŇŮ). Most of them were displayed as question marks... And we may expect same problem for other countries.

Do you plan Unicode support in Lianja? It would solve many problems with character translation and presentation in our international database applications.

Qt fully supports Unicode so what's the problem to introduce new Unicode string data type?

We will look into internalization, as has been stated in the roadmap. If you use windows specific codepages this will not work cross platform. Unicode and codepages are two different things entirely. We will take a look at the codepages issues.
