    Can Lianja work with XSLT?

    Hi all,
I've read about XSLT transformation for XML file.
Can I use it in Lianja?
There are a function to normalize XML file with XSLT?

    thanks

    HI Phabio,

XSLT is an excel spreadsheet, right? So you have to move XML into a spreadsheet? Move a spreadsheet into XML, and if so why? What's your real goal?

What are you trying to accomplish (as contrasted with how you are planning to accomplish it)?

    See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/XSLT

and look at the Lianja xquery functions which you use to slice up XML formatted text and files.

    Hi Barry, I've read..

as you know, my business is work with MS Dynamics.. so, in Italy, from 01/01/2019, all the invoice can be sent to a governement insitution on XML format.

I've the invoice on XML format, with a lot of fields.
Now, i need to "transalte"the XML file to a format definet by the SDI (Service for Data Interchange).

MS Dynamics include a function where i put as a parameters the XML original file and the XSLT.. the the funcion return the new formatted XML.

On Lianja, I can read the XML original file and format it by code.. right?

    Thnaks

    Hi Fabio,

yes you should be able to use the xquery functions to parse into objects then write the objects out in the required format.
