VFP frx/reports

I have a lot of reports /frx files in my VFP9 app. The reports were developed at various times using VFP 2.6 to VFP 9. What are some of the gotcha's in Lianja, if any? I don't see much info about here.

Hi Waih,

Per the roadmap https://www.lianja.com/resources/roa...aappbuilder5_0 the Report Engine is scheduled for V5.3, and FRX import for the release after that, V6.0.

Note that Stimulsoft has a library (written in .NET, available on Github) for importing VFP reports into their format. Their Reports.JS should be able to run in an html page in a webview section. https://www.stimulsoft.com/en/downloads/importing-tools

I am revisting this product again. Are we closer to having frx files/ VFP reports? It is hard to determine from the product roadmap which is outdated. Thanks.

That is in the roadmap for Lianja 8.0.

It's keep moving to further versions. I am also waiting for this update from very long time. I hope this time it will not move to further version :-)

Hi Dilip,

I adjust the roadmap based on developer needs. My intention is to write the frx importer when time permits. The Lianja report builder is very productive. We just migrated a large VFP application to Lianja which had 45 reports.
