    Unnecessary VFP code?

Before converting some VFP code to Javascript I am wondering if I am using VFP when Lianja attributes can/should be used.

E.g. I am selecting a row in one grid, and on the click event I am filtering a second grid to a field in the selected row with this:

    proc page1_section3_click()
    sele event
    set filter to tlid=tlSummary.tlid
    locate

    Lianja.findElementByID("section1").refresh
    endproc

I haven't been able to achieve this by using any of SQL statement, Filter or Where clause attributes.
    Should I be able to?

After looking at the demo "Grid with filter", this seems to be the answer!

    Lianja.get("section1").grid.filter = "tlid=tlSummary"

Sorry if I have wasted anybody's time

    Hi Andrew,

I too am in a similar situation.
I am converting a VFP app to a javascript app.
It hasn't been easy for me as I'm figuring out what can or cannot be used.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please post them here in the forum.
It may be helpful to me and many others.

    Have a great day.

    Cory
