    Commands and ODBC

    Hello,

    How would I use file() to verify if a file exists when data is accessed through an ODBC connection?

    Code:
    //ODBC name: qwerty

    IF file("abc.dbf")
    ...
    ENDIF

    Hi Cory,

    Check out SYSRESULTSET:

    You should be able to do something like this:

    SELECT FILE("orders.dbf") AS mylogical FROM SYSRESULTSET

    I would try with SQLTABLES - something like this:

    Code:
    con=SQLSTRINGCONNECT("qwerty")
    xx=SQLTABLES(con,"'TABLE'","tablelist")
    SQLVALUES("select count(table_name) from tablelist where table_name='abc'")
    IF _SQLVALUES(1)=1
         * it exists
    ENDIF
