    RowID

    Hi all

    I have problem with my following code at the line "goto lnRowID" where its says "a number is expected"
    Any idea what is the problem with my code below?

    case tcAction = "Void"
    lnRowID = Lianja.get("clock_records.list").grid.rowid
    select axclkdat
    goto lnRowID <<-------------------- error message is "Number is expected"
    replace lclkvoid with .t.
    Lianja.get("clock_records.list").grid.refresh()

    Your advice is much appreciated

    Thanks & Best Regards

    Hi Tek Hong

    goto the console or in the app inspector and try the command interactively.

    Hi

    Thanks. It works when I tried it in the apps inspector console

    This is what I tried

    a) Click "Down"
    b) lnrowid= lianja.get("clock_records.list").grid.rowid
    c) Check lnrowid in console and it returns a numeric value. This value changes when I click "Down"
    d) When I issue "goto lnrowid" in console window, it works but for some records, it says record out of range although I have a few more rows in the grid

    Your advice is much appreciated

    Thanks & Best Regards

    Is that cursor that you are selecting from a table or a SQL query?

    List status and look at the cursor that you are selecting.

    Once you have that figured out you don't need to refresh the whole grid you can just refreshRecno( nRecno) which you obtain just like you did with rowid but reference recno instead.
