My Lianja crashed, how to restore my App

I was happily working on my app last night when it froze just as I was making the last edits to some procedures.

I closed Lianja and tried to reopen my app but it just stuck on the loading of it. I rebooted, same thing. I cleaned my drive C: with CCleaner and rebooted, no joy.

I can open the Lianja Demo so the problem seems to be my app is corrupted.

I searched for backups on the forum and see that there is something coming down in ver 2. But in my 1.24 I don't see anything. I have been winziping the \lianja\apps\akamaivoter\ folder from my drive C: as a backup but I made a lot of changes since the last one so I'd prefer to go to that as a last resort.

I noticed the following path, C:\lianja\apps\akamaivoter\backups\2014\December\

And within the \December\ folder there appears to be folders for backups by day and subfolders within the days that are by the minute or some kind of granular level.

    My question is:

    1. Is there a tool built into ver 1.24 that I can restore my app to a previous state?

    2. If not, can I take the contents of one of the backup folders and copy it somewhere in C:\Lianja\Apps\akamaivoter\ ?

    - I noticed some of the granular folders have one file, others have two and there are different lib files, I guess depending on what I was working on at the time. Which files do I need to have and can I just take them from some point in time and back

    2. Could I do the same with my Winzip of the entire \akamaivoter\ folder? That is just unzip my app over the existing one in C:\Lianja\Apps\

Here's a pic of the path and folders:

    Hi Steve,

Check out the Versions Workspace. You will find all the previous versions of your files in there by date. That should get you back up and running.

    Thanks Dave,

I found the Versions work space and see the directory like I saw in Windows Explorer.

But, I didn't see how to roll back to a previous version. That is, no buttons or anything to indicate how to do this. I double clicked on a lib file and an app file in the versions but it opened in the text editor and did nothing else.

I tried to click/drag on files and then folders and nothing. Can you tell me how I use this to roll back?

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Click the Restore From Backup button in the top right corner of the screen.

    Hi Dave,

Thanks!!! I didn't even notice those icons way up on the top right. My vision was very tunnel-ish.

That worked perfectly and easily. My app is un-stuck.

    Thank you, thank you.

    Steve
