Javascript function from Python Section

hi,

I have created a function in javascript and put it in a .js file in Lianja. Say if the function name is "sayHello()", how do I call it from my Form Section (Python Scripting Language)?

And one more thing is: the "sayHello()" function has another .js file referenced by means of the script/src tag like

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://localhost:12175/HelloWorld.js"></script>

What would be the right way to get these to work?

Hi Murali,

Lianja WebViews can be written in either Lianja/VFP (.rsp pages) or JavaScript (.jssp pages).

Take a look at this blog article as it will better show you how write "Server Pages" in JavaScript.

Any JavaScript function in a WebView can be called using the evaluate() method on the WebView.
