You don't edit your existing VFP forms in Lianja. You import them into Lianja and embed them inside pages. Thats the core UI architecture.

You don't build "exe" files in Lianja. You build apps and deploy them as .lpk files in the "Deploy" workspace. All Apps run via the "App Center" which has user authentication, roles and permissions which can be used to restrict what apps a user can run and what pages, sections and fields are visible to them and well as fine grained control of database CRUD operations at the page, section, and field level.

Lianja is cross-platform and cross-UI not just a VFP clone.

Please read the articles on the website.

    Victor,

How do you create an exe of a web app or a mobile app. These both require different ways of distributing an app.

I assume that you are referring to desktop app deployment on windows.

You can package up the Lianja app center together with your Lianja apps and database using the NSIS installer which is included in the Lianja app builder distribution.

A database app typically has data so that can be built into your installer.

The NSIS installer creates an exe installer which can be branded with a splash screen and let the user choose what they want to install.

When we release Lianja App Builder officially, you would purchase the Pro edition which includes runtime royalty free distribution of your apps and the Lianja App Center.

On Mac you use the Mac package manager.

On Linux there is no GUi installer so you would need to use InstallBuilder or something similar.

This is only required to package up Lianja App Center + your apps + data + resources into an executable installer which was your original question that you cross posted across other threads.

Yes your clients can use your apps without buy extra programs. You would purchase the Lianja Pro Edition which provides you with a license to deploy your Apps runtime royalty free.

If you want to use Lianja SQL Server and/or Lianja Cloud Server (when it is available) you could become an ISV and that provides you with a license to deploy Lianja SQL Server and Lianja Cloud Server too.

There currently is no video to show you how to build a distribution of your App. It is different on all platforms. I already explained in this thread.
