I notice that the Lianja SQL Server ODBC driver in RC1 is 32-bit. I realize there are no data limitations, but was wondering whether a) SQL Server is 32-bit only; and b) whether the ODBC driver will be 32-bit only.

thanks,

Hank

They are both 32 bit but they work just fine on windows 64. The start menu contains the correct links to the Lianja ODBC Driver and the Lianja SQL Server Manager.

There are no data limitations as the engine uses 64 bit files access.

Ah, I see: the Lianja ODBC Manager does the work of odbcad32.exe in syswow64 (on x64) systems, so no need to go there. Same information both places.

And so the app will always run 32-bit; but the file access is 64-bit.

thanks,

Hank

Correct, and data is interoperable between all supported platforms.
