Hi People,

I heard about Recital and Lianja in the Visual Foxpro Spanish Community,

https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/publicesvfoxpro

The thing is that I'm trying to install Lianja beta 9 and pops up a big error:

The installer tries to use a certain J drive but I'm conected to a LAN where there already exist the J drive.

What can I do to install it correctly?..

Sorry for any mistake writing English. Spanish is my first language.

Thanks Technical people!101

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Lianja, we're sorry you're having difficulty getting it installed. Could you please open a Windows command prompt, issue the "set" command and post the results here. Hopefully this will give us the information we need to help with your problem. Thanks!

Just shoud I write the word SET in a DOS mode window and that's it?..

Should I type it now or while installing and see the error?..

I already cancelled the installer window..

Let me know please..

It appears that the installer is picking up the value of the HOMEDRIVE environment variable. We will look into this and see what can be done.

Please submit a support ticket for this. As the error dialog states you have your HOMEDRIVE set to J: but you have no permission to create folders on it and write to those folders.

I received an email that refers to a ticket saying:

"This has now been changed to SYSTEMDRIVE".

So, Should I go ahead now and try to run the Lianja Installer?..

Thanks!

I have tried to post this thread in the enhancements request area but it appears a database error when sending it:

Title: Do you plan to have a spanish Lianja Version ? ...

Hi! I heard about Lianja en the spanish Visual Foxpro Community.

https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/publicesvfoxpro

Even though the last visual Foxpro service pack (the 2) for the version 9 was not translated it into Spanish, some have expressed the idea of trying Lianja until it is built in a spanish version.

Why ? Because translating it into main world languages like Spanish (From Mexico to Argentina, except Brazil and including Spain), it is a sign or token of reliability.

It shows that the product will not die easily but the creators have the intention to progress and make it a world hit.

Specially for those who have been dissapointed in the past like the Visual Foxpro Developers, this is a real issue whether to decide to go for certain new product or not.

Hope you could this into account.

Regards!
