Canvas and Custom sections coming in v1.1

In v1.1 we have now implemented JavaScript Canvas and Custom Sections as a technology preview in the Lianja HTML5 Web and Mobile Client.



JavaScript Canvas sections with LianjaWebFramework JavaScript classes (VFP 9 core UI classes using Lianja.createObject() and object.addObject()). This does not yet include composite components such as Grid, Tree and PageFrame. The core UI classes and their delegates are now implemented in Canvas sections in the Lianja Web and Mobile Client.



Javascript Custom sections with LianjaWebFramework JavaScript classes (VFP 9 core UI classes using Lianja.createObject() and object.addObject()). This does not yet include composite components such as Grid, Tree and PageFrame. The core classes and their delegates are now implemented in Custom sections in the Lianja Web and Mobile Client.


The doc for the Lianja HTML5 Web Client API is well underway and should be ready when we ship v1.1. There are quite a few surprises in store!

I know this will please a lot of you as we are progressing well through the roadmap.

This is the moment I have been waiting for.

This will radically change how I/we build web applications.

Not to knock the other technologies that I use, but there is nothing that will get me to market quicker than having a robust, WYSIWYG, full framework, data-centric, choose your language, incredible support application tool.

I am extremely excited to see this progress.
