Connect to Mysql on a webserver

Hello,

I always worked with the VPF9 and his native database, and dont't have many expirience on the web.

Two questions,

is there a possibility to run an Lianja app on a webserver with his own native database ?

can I connect to Mysql on a webserver ?, I tried it with an ODBC driver, It works fine to make a connection.
But I can't find a way to open the database or the tables.
But when the connection is made, where can I see the database ?

The easiest way to access odbc datasources would be a virtualtable. Watch the videos to get an understanding of databases; and then after you have created a database, you can create a virtual table in the database you have created.
