MODIFY FILE

Purpose

Open the Script Editor to edit program or other text files

Syntax

MODIFY FILE <filename> | (<expC>)

Description

MODIFY FILE opens the Script Editor in the Apps workspace to create or modify program files and other text files. The filename can be substituted with a <expC>, enclosed in round brackets, which returns a valid filename. If no file extension is present in the file name, then '.txt' is used.
